10-02-11

Posts have been spaced apart a bit more than normal.  Things are not moving along smoothly, but I am fine.  A recent one week trip to Nashville has worn on me and I guess I am not getting any younger.  I've been finding myself struggling to stay up to 10pm to make sure you and your date get along.  One positive is that I sleep well....in Tijuana.

There is a little issue with my DirecTV and I am waiting for a new box.  Saturday and Sunday with nothing more than local cable was a bit rough.  I did see Wisconsin and Nebraska go at it on Saturday night.  With the local cable, I often get games not offered on my satellite package.  It is kind of nice as you don't have to listen to the American commentators.  I do like the pre-game shows but  the folks that call the game are not always the best.

Jocelyn is back and that is good news for all.  Foxy Roxy and July (formally Julia) are back as well and only makes decisions more difficult for our friends. Our recruiter brought two chicas to Tijuana and one of them left before even getting started.  I heard she was a looker too!  Evelyn is the remaining chica and she will be tested soon I am sure.

Looks like I may be heading back to Tennessee soon, but it will be for 10 days or so.  The weather was nice last week, but you know that won't last forever.  I will walk my son to school each day and that is the highlight of the trip.  We have missed so much over the years, even though we talk on the phone.  Getting a visual of where he lives, goes to school and how he lives is something you can't learn on a phone call.

Hey Charger fans, are you excited about the 3-1 start.  We all know they should start like that every year.  I'm not even a Charger fan, but I do watch them a lot by default.  They were blacked out today....I may have got them if I had my DirectTV as my package is from Los Angeles.  I'm not sure what the rule is 75 miles....125 miles???  Does not really matter.

Baseball is winding down and the College Basketball season is coming up with the quickness.  My Ball State Cardinals open at Arizona....maybe a road trip is in order.   The Irish seem to have got on track.  Let's see how they finish.

Shout out to my buddy that won some big dough in his baseball pool.   Took him to the last day of the season to secure the victory.  I know he sweat off a few pounds.

Be safe folks....about 2 moths to our Xmas party.  I will be back before that.
